The Content Management System that will be covered throughout the Web Master program is WordPress, which is written in PHP.
PHP is a server-side scripting language, meaning it is code which is run directly on a web server. After this code is processed, it outputs HTML to be viewed by web browsers.
Through working with WordPress, participants of the Web Master program will have an opportunity to be introduced to PHP and develop some familiarity with its syntax and how it works with databases to create dynamic web pages.
